Pompom...
A do it yourself pompom in ten photos to make a pompom with the same tread you are using for your sampler.

Supplies:
- One skein.
- Two cardboard pieces 1.2'' (3 cm) wide.
- An embroidery needle (round tip).
ASSEMBLY:

- To get 2 nice and thick pompoms, divide the skein in two.
- Keep 11.8'' to 13.8'' (30 to 35 cm) of thread for each pompom and prepare your needle before starting winding.
- Place the 2 cardboards against each other.
- Start winding the thread around the 1.2'' . Begin at the bottom.

- Wind all the thread.

- Slide the needle in between the two cardboards.

- Tight a knot and let 2'' (5cm) on each side.

- Slide the scissors inside the cardboards.
- Cut the threads opposite to the knot.

- Take your needle and tight a knot on top of the first knot
- You can choose a coordinated color for the ring and a thread of the same color as the fabric for the pompom.
- Slide the thread in the middle of the pompom and get it out at the first knot. Be careful not to tousle the pompom.

- Hold the pompom in your fingers.
- Slide the needle in the pompom again in the first knot and get it out 0.2'' (5mm) from inside the pompom.
-Wind 6 or 7 turns to tight the pompom.

- Go through the ring several times to stop the thread.
- Hide the thread inside the pompom.

- Trim the threads

- Et voilà a pom-pom witch!
